Ask A Scientist

If you could ask a scientist about coronavirus, what questions do you have? Wondering about social distancing, wiping down packages, when it's safe to go back to school?

We have started the "Ask a Scientist" series. We will be hosting Zoom conversations with scientists and learning about coronavirus, debunking myths, and sharing good information.

Week 1 (May 21) featured a conversation with infectious disease scientist William Pewen, PhD MPH.

Week 2 (May 28) will feature Dr. Deborah Thomson, DVM, who develops One Health lessons for children ages 6 to 18 so that they can understand the inextricable connection between human health and the health of animals and the environment. She has created lesson plans to talk with kids about COVID-19, which means she is ready to answer tough questions.

For security reasons, we are going to be including our zoom information in the Masks for Humanity email to go out Wednesday evening. So head on over to our website and sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop.
