Join Friday's Masks for Humanity Zoom Sew-a-thon

We have the opportunity to make a video to help drive people to Masks 4 Humanity’s website and amplify our efforts.

GROUND, the agency creating the promotional video, wants to create a large sew-a-thon on Zoom for mask makers across the country. This is an amazing chance to see one another’s gorgeous faces and cheer each other on!

If you are interested in participating, please mark your calendar now for this Friday, April 10th at 12noon Pacific / 3pm Eastern. Join us using this link: https://zoom.us/j/364144745

The purpose of the Zoom video conference is to capture you in action! We want to be able to see you doing any mask-making activity-- sewing, cutting fabric, measuring, trying one on, etc.

In advance of the call, we’d like you to set up your phone or computer so we can see you actually making your masks and not just your head and shoulders. You may have to get creative and prop your phone or laptop up on some books to find the right angle. Here are some examples of what works:

We hope to have hundreds of people on this call, so no need to worry about what you or your space look like in detail. I cannot wait to thank you face-to-virtual-face.

GROUND is also in the early stages of collecting stories of people making masks, so if you’d like to share your story about mask-making and the impact it has had in your community, please feel free to send it in to contact@ground.media (please limit it to 200 words).

Thank you for all the ways you are helping!
